We are Laura Ashton and Dave Rothwell and have now been in the business of making tents and marquees for 18 years. Each tent is made to order by the two of us, here in our small workshop, ensuring that we have complete control from start to finish. We are not a factory and we do not carry ready-made stock.

Over the years both of us have in one way or another been involved in theatre and music, which has had a profound effect on the way we approach all aspects of our lives, including business. Tents to us are more than just a means to earn a living, they are a passion. We have an on-going interest in mobile structures and what goes on inside them. We love the fact that a tent can create a space filled with magic one day and be gone the next - often with no trace left behind.

'Fantasy tents for people who want to do strange things inside the outside... after all what is the point of having an outside if you can't go in it! The truly lovely thing about having your own Belle Tent is that you can be out and in at the same time, and when you do go out you can take your own bit of inside with you.'

We now have a limited amount of red and blue canvas in stock that, once gone, will no longer be offered as unfortunately it is no longer feasible to have the cloth dyed for us.
