Party Marquees
|
Our Party Marquees are good-looking enough to make interior canopy linings unnecessary. Also, all are inter-connectable with each other and with the garden/pavilion tents, making them ideal venues for parties. We offer two basic designs: Round and Round-end marquees, which are either round with a centre pole, or have two poles and a centre section with round ends; and Pavilion marquees which are adapted from the round marquees. For the pavilion marquee prices, please contact us; these marquees can work out slightly cheaper than their round equivalents. Special sizes can also be made, please let us know your requirements. A feature of the two pole round end marquees is the fact that we have eliminated the need for a ridge pole, normally the weakest point of a marquee as it does not 'give' in a wind. By replacing this pole with webbing, the Belle Tent marquee is a more stable structure. By design the canvas is so cut as to allow us to give the two pole marquees a lovely curve between the poles. All the two pole marquees are double purpose as the canopies are laced together in sections, enabling the centre section to be removed and to use the two ends as a round marquee with a single pole. Extra centre sections and main poles can also be added to make even larger marquees. Belle Tent marquee width sizes start at 20' (6m) diameter, and go up to 30' (9m) diameter. The length can be extended indefinitely by adding 22' (6.7m) middle sections. The side walls are 7' (2.13m) high as standard but we can make them higher if needed. Large marquees of sizes 30' (9m) diameter are erected by the use of pulleys on the main poles and are a little more complicated to put up than the small marquees, which use the simple 'push-up' method. We can offer add-on extensions which attach to the marquees for extra space for a stage or buffet, freeing up the main body of the marquee for dancing. All of these marquees come complete with canopy, side walls, wooden poles, guy ropes, decorative turned wooden finials for the top of the wall poles, steel stakes, wooden pegs and storage bags for the canvas. It will be necessary to purchase a sledge hammer to put up the marquees, these are obtainable from builders merchants. Please note: As we get very busy during the spring and summer months, it is advisable to order marquees in the autumn for delivery the following spring, particularly for marquees using colour canvas we generally have to have a new batch of canvas dyed, a process that can take up to 2 months.
